Wireless onboard sensing
LoRa allows sensor nodes to communicate with the gateway without a separate data cable to each monitoring point, which can simplify retrofit installations.

Marine IoT · Boat monitoring
MATIS provides a wireless path from onboard or shore-side sensor points to a cloud monitoring interface, helping owners and operators stay informed when they are away.

Boats and marine environments contain spaces and equipment that are not continuously attended. MATIS is designed to bring selected onboard or shore-side monitoring points into one remote view using wireless sensors, a gateway and cloud connectivity.
Within LoRa range, sensor nodes communicate with the MATIS gateway without requiring individual network cabling. Where cellular coverage is available, the gateway can forward measurements and events to the MATIS cloud platform so the owner or operator can review the installation remotely.

Marine applications
MATIS can be configured around the monitoring requirements of a boat or marine installation, with the goal of improving awareness rather than adding unnecessary complexity onboard.

The gateway is designed around cellular internet connectivity. Availability at sea depends on network coverage, while in marinas and coastal areas it can provide a practical remote uplink.
Sensor readings and events can be brought into the MATIS interface so owners and operators have a single place to review their own vessel or marine-site devices.
