Wireless by design
LoRa communication helps cover separated sensor positions without requiring a wired data link between every point and the MATIS gateway.

Agricultural IoT · Smart farming
MATIS connects distributed agricultural sensor points to a cellular gateway and cloud dashboard, helping operators monitor fields, greenhouses and facilities remotely.

Agricultural monitoring often spans wide areas and changing layouts. Running fixed communication cabling to every measurement point is not always practical. MATIS uses a wireless LoRa sensor network to bring distributed measurements back to a local gateway, which then sends data to the cloud over cellular connectivity.
This creates a flexible agricultural IoT monitoring layer that can support day-to-day visibility without tying the installation to a single building network. The platform can be adapted around the sensing needs of a greenhouse, field installation, agricultural building or other growing environment.

Practical applications
MATIS can help bring remote awareness to locations that are spread out, difficult to reach continuously or dependent on local environmental conditions.

A cellular gateway can provide cloud connectivity where farm Wi-Fi is unavailable, unreliable or simply not the right infrastructure for the installation.
Operators can review sensor data and events remotely, making it easier to know when a monitored area needs attention before travelling to the site.
Agriculture + IoT
MATIS is designed to adapt to the environment instead of forcing every agricultural installation into the same layout.
